According to statistics from the Guangdong Sub-Administration of the General Administration of Customs of People's Republic of China, Guangdong's imports and exports reached 3.49 trillion yuan in the first four months of this year, up 18.4% year on year. Of the total, exports stood at 2.06 trillion yuan, an increase of 11.4%, while imports reached 1.43 trillion yuan, up 30.1%.
Guangdong ranked first nationwide in terms of trade volume, share and growth increment. In the first four months,Guangdong's foreign trade growth was 3.5 percentage points higher than the national average. Its share of China's total foreign trade rose by 0.6 percentage points from the same period last year to 21.5%. Guangdong's foreign trade increased by 541.07 billion yuan, exceeding the total increment recorded for the whole of last year, and contributed 25.8% to China's foreign trade growth during the same period.
In the first four months, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, Hong Kong, China, and the European Union were Guangdong's top three trading partners, with trade volume reaching 540.55 billion yuan, 521.24 billion yuan and 379.85 billion yuan, respectively, all maintaining double-digit growth. During the same period, Guangdong's trade with Japan and South Korea grew by more than 30%, up 34.3% and 30.4%, respectively. Its trade with Australia, the five Central Asian countries, Africa and India also grew faster than the province's overall foreign trade, rising by 51.4%, 24.1%, 21.4% and 19%, respectively.
Exports of high-tech and high value-added mechanical and electrical products saw strong growth. In the first four months, Guangdong exported 1.45 trillion yuan worth of mechanical and electrical products, up 15.7%. Among them, exports of high-tech products such as 3D printers, digital cameras, lithium-ion batteries and drones increased by 123.3%, 74.7%, 53.9% and 34.2%, respectively.
Robust domestic demand also drove rapid import growth. In the first four months, Guangdong imported 955.96 billion yuan worth of mechanical and electrical products, up 24.9%. During the same period, imports of high-quality consumer goods, including edible vegetable oil, beef, edible aquatic products and dairy products, rose by 149%, 72.3%, 10.9% and 10.8%, respectively.

前4个月广东外贸继续保持两位数增长
据海关总署广东分署统计,今年前4个月,广东进出口3.49万亿元,增长18.4%。其中,出口2.06万亿元,增长11.4%;进口1.43万亿元,增长30.1%。
规模、份额、增量均居全国首位。前4个月,广东外贸进出口增速较全国快3.5个百分点,占全国进出口总值的比重较去年同期提升0.6个百分点至21.5%;外贸增量5410.7亿元,超过去年全年规模;对同期全国进出口增长的贡献度达25.8%。
前4个月,东盟、中国香港、欧盟为广东前3大贸易伙伴,进出口分别为5405.5亿元、5212.4亿元、3798.5亿元,均保持两位数增长。同期,对日本、韩国进出口增长超三成,达34.3%、30.4%。此外,对澳大利亚、中亚5国、非洲、印度等增速也快于整体,分别增长51.4%、24.1%、21.4%、19%。
出口高新技术、高附加值机电产品增势强劲。前4个月,广东出口机电产品1.45万亿元,增长15.7%。其中,3D打印机、数码相机、锂离子蓄电池、无人机等高新技术产品分别增长123.3%、74.7%、53.9%、34.2%。
国内需求旺盛带动进口快速增长。前4个月,广东进口机电产品9559.6亿元,增长24.9%。同期,进口食用植物油、牛肉、食用水产品、乳品等优质生活用品分别增长149%、72.3%、10.9%、10.8%。
