On January 22nd, Terminal 3 (T3) of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport welcomed the second phase of airlines' group relocation, marking the full launch of its international operations. It is mentioned that during the upcoming Chinese New Year travel rush, T3 will be involved in the travel rush services for the first time and will roll out special activities such as fashion shows and Chinese New Year couplet-writing events. Terminals 1 and 2 will also host a variety of cultural performances, including a Chimelong parade, Yingge dance, lion dance, and traditional Chinese music performances, adding both visual flair and cultural richness to passengers' journeys.
So far, more than 80 passenger and cargo airlines operate at Baiyun Airport, forming a route network that connects 105 major cities worldwide. The airport serves over 146 international routes and nearly 30 intercontinental destinations, with nearly 70 destinations located in major cities of countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative.
This year, a series of campaigns such as "Come to Guangdong for the Chinese New Year" and "Guangdong Goods Global Reach" have continued to gain momentum. Baiyun Airport has recorded a good start in transport operations, with passenger throughput exceeding 250,000 on multiple days.
From January 1st to 20th, 2026, Baiyun Airport handled a total of 31,473 flights and transported 4.76 million passengers, averaging 1,574 flights and 238,000 passengers per day, up 3.27% and 6.48% year on year, respectively. As of January 19th, 2026, inbound and outbound travelers through Baiyun Airport Port had surpassed one million trips for the year, reaching that mark three days earlier than in 2025 and rising 20.5% year on year, setting a new record for the same period.
With the 2026 Chinese New Year travel rush approaching, Baiyun Airport Port is expected to see another surge in cross-border flows, with daily inbound and outbound passenger traffic possibly reaching 58,000 trips.
广州白云机场T3航站楼国际业务全面开启
1月22日，广州白云国际机场T3航站楼迎来第二批航司集中入驻，标志着T3国际业务全面开启。据介绍，春运期间，首次参与春运保障的白云机场T3航站楼还将推出“时装秀”“挥春送福”等特色活动，T1、T2航站楼也将举办长隆巡游、英歌舞、醒狮、民乐表演等丰富多彩的文化活动，让春运旅途有“颜”又有“料”。
目前，在白云机场运营的客货运航司超80家，构建了覆盖全球105个主要城市的航线网络，国际航线超146条、洲际通航点近30个，其中近70个航点为共建“一带一路”沿线国家的主要城市。
今年以来，“请到广东过大年”“广货行天下”等系列活动持续升温，白云机场运输生产迎来“开门红”，多日客流超25万人次。
2026年1月1日至20日，白云机场累计保障航班31473架次、运送旅客476.1万人次，日均航班量达1574架次、旅客量23.8万人次，同比分别增长3.27%、6.48%。截至2026年1月19日，白云机场口岸今年以来出入境客流已突破100万人次，较2025年提前3天，同比增长20.5%，刷新同期客流纪录。
伴随着2026年春运临近，预计白云机场口岸还将迎来出入境客流高峰，单日出入境客流或达5.8万人次。
