中国民用航空网2012年12月21日讯：沸沸扬扬的东航“吸烟门”风波尚未平息，国航又遭点名。
昨(20)日上午，新浪微博用户@航空物语 发帖称，有外国网友在微博鼻祖推特(Twitter)上给国航留言，表示在多个进出洛杉矶国际机场的国航航班的头等舱有人吸烟，机组人员没有加以阻止。该微博引发了网友热议。
从该微博所附推特截图可以看出，网友“@RyanSigworth”在12月1日给国航留言道： Didnt enjoy people smoking on all my flights including into and out of LAX. Maybe I will decide to piss in the aisle #faa(意为：在我所乘坐的所有进出洛杉矶国际机场的国航航班上，居然都有人吸烟，实在是不爽。也许我也考虑下是否要在过道里小便。)
12月2日，国航官方微博“@AirChinaNA”回复道：We enforce a strict non-smoking policy on ALL our flights. Pls provide flight #s of the flight(s) where you saw the violation.(意为：我们在国航所有航班上都严格执行机上禁烟的规定。请提供您所见违规行为的航班号。)
12月3日，网友“@RyanSigworth”应国航要求提供了5个所涉航班号：11/22 CA984, 11/26 CA 1223, 11/28 CA 1215, 12/01 CA 1590, 12/01 CA 987 All with smoking in first class. Staff did nothing. #faa(意为：11月22日CA984, 11月26日CA 1223, 11月28日CA 1215, 12月1日CA 1590, 12月1日CA 987共5个航班头等舱均有人吸烟。机组人员未加阻止。)
此后，国航未再作出进一步的回应。
